In the Lower Level of the Schine Student Center Bookstore, textbooks are arranged on shelves alphabetically by course department (example: AAS, ACC, ADD).
Once you have located the department, the courses are shelved in numerical order (example: AAS 112, AAS 138, AAS 232)
A shelf tag (see sample below) is placed for each course and reads as follows:
The main campus is identified in the upper left hand corner (example: UC means University College, MC means Main Campus). This is followed by:- Department (example: BIO=Biology)
- Semester (example: Fall)
- Section number (example: SEC:15)
- Instructor's last name
- Title and Author
Each course tag will indicate the book status as "REQUIRED" or "RECOMMENDED."
