Textbook Rentals & Reservations

Although first-year students' registration deadline is June 11th, schedules are not finalized until two weeks prior to the first day of classes. Beginning the week of August 16th, you will be able to view your finalized schedule on MySlice and the textbook information provided by your instructor to the University Bookstore.

Textbook Rentals
Rent your textbook for the semester or the academic year! Come to our Textbook Department in the Schine Student Center and choose the textbooks you need. You can rest easy knowing that you're going to get the right books at the right time and at the best price.

Textbook Reservation
Order new and used textbooks online and your order will be boxed up and ready to go when you arrive on campus. We shop the sales floor for your textbooks giving you the first opportunity to save 25% by selecting used textbooks as available. We pull your textbooks, box them in durable handle cartons, and have them ready for you when you come to campus. There is no New York State sales tax on textbooks required for courses.

For your shopping convenience, the Bookstore sponsors complimentary campus shuttles to carry your purchases from the Schine Student Center Bookstore to your residence hall Wednesday through Friday, August 25-27.
